Product Overview
NLY-03S Glass Bottle Internal Pressure Tester, developed and manufactured by Sumspring, features patented technology with dual workstations operating simultaneously. It fully complies with the national standard GB/T 4546-2008 as well as the international standard ISO 7458:2004.
This instrument is widely used for internal pressure resistance testing of various glass bottles, including beer bottles, wine bottles, beverage bottles, infusion bottles, and antibiotic vials. It provides strong support for ensuring the quality and safety of glass containers.
Testing Principle
According to GB/T 4546-2008 (Test method for internal pressure resistance of glass containers), two test methods for determining the internal pressure resistance of glass containers are specified: Method A and Method B.
Method A – Constant Internal Pressure Test
Method A is a test where a constant internal pressure is applied within a predetermined time. Within the specified time, the instrument applies a constant pressure to the glass bottle, and the bottle is observed to see whether it can withstand the pressure without breaking. If the glass bottle remains intact for the specified time, it indicates that its internal pressure resistance meets the requirements.
Method B – Increasing Internal Pressure at a Constant Rate
Method B is a test where the internal pressure is increased at a predetermined constant rate. The instrument increases the pressure inside the glass bottle at a constant rate, and the point at which the bottle breaks is observed. This method allows for a more accurate determination of the maximum internal pressure resistance limit of the glass bottle, providing manufacturers with more precise data for reference.
